Atlanta Tango Social was started to spread the word about Argentine Tango in Atlanta and help grow the Tango community.
We host two monthly milongas that are beginner-friendly, and bring recognized guest artists to Atlanta for weekends that all dance levels can enjoy.
Whether this is the first time you have heard about dancing Argentine Tango or have been a tanguero for years, our community has been waiting for you.

Where You Are.
Nobody walks into their first tango class feeling graceful. We know that. Our beginner classes with Horacio Arcidiacono take you from zero to milonga-ready in a structured, supportive, and genuinely fun environment. Held before the Third Saturday Milonga at Academy Ballroom Marietta, it's the perfect introduction to a night of tango.
"Do I need a partner?"
Nope. We rotate throughout class. It's actually better that way.
"Am I too old?"
Our community runs from 20s to 70s. Tango is easier on the body than you'd expect.
"I have two left feet."
So did everyone here on their first night. That is genuinely not a barrier.
"Is it hard to learn?"
The basics take one class. The rest is a joyful, lifelong adventure.
